Rauten has 15 years' experience in business management and sales within the automotive industry. He has an extensive knowledge of automotive parts and mechanics.
Rauten enjoys fishing and renovating classic off-road motorcycles.
Gary Brown -Workshop Manager
Gary is a qualified Automotive Mechanic, he is a certified MITO Assessor - WOF Inspector and he also holds a certificate of adult teaching. Since 1977 Gary has been building 42 years of experience in the automotive industry starting as an apprentice - foreman - service manager - general service manager and now workshop manager.
Gary enjoys fishing, home renovations and restoring old school cars.
Stephen Brungar -Engineer & Diesel Mechanic
"Grandad" is our longest standing employee, his skills and knowledge are invaluable to the company. Stephen began as an apprentice in 1969 and has devoted 50 years to the trade. He is a CBIP qualified certifier and works on EWP and hydraulic crane trucks and repairs. He has vast experience working on every type of vehicle from heavy diesel to tow connections, tractors, ride-on mowers and everything in between. Stephen has longstanding relationships with our clients who hold him in the highest regard.
Stephen enjoys fishing and sport with his grandkids.
Stephen Kirkham -Assistant Manager / Mechanic
Steve began his career in 2004 and has a certificate in Trade Technology Heavy Equipment, automotive heavy engineering road transport certificate and an automotive light certificate. He is an experienced trade qualified diesel mechanic with 8 years' experience working on buses and prior experience working on heavy mining equipment on the mines in Australia. Steve enjoys fishing, hunting and overseas travel.
Joseph Kora -Technician
Jo has his National Trade Certificate, CBIP qualification and welding certificates. He began working for Transport Maintenance in 2000 and has experience in all departments of general automotive engineering from lawn mowers to 4 axle trucks and wheel alignments.
Jo enjoys motorbikes, fast cars and sports.
David Haenga -Mechanic
David started as an apprentice in 1977 and achieved A-Grade in 1982. He has owned and operated his own automotive workshop for 11 years, worked as a contractor for 10 years and spent 9 years building underground coal mining loaders and equipment in Australia.
David enjoys rugby league and travel.
Philip Richards -Auto Electrician & Technician
Phil is a qualified and registered Automotive Electrical Engineer. With over 22 years' experience in the automotive & heavy vehicle industry, he has accumulated a large range of skill sets, as well as technical support and training experience.
Phil enjoys family, classic cars, fishing and Lego Technic.
Alistair Mitchell -Technician
Alistair qualified as a Master Service Technician with Briggs & Stratton in 2016 as well as being a Kohler Certified Technician. He has 20 years' experience working in many different automotive and mechanical engineering sectors from small engines like our ride on mowers to diesel and bus engines.
Alistair enjoys cars, movies and fishing.
Taran Jit Singh -Technician
Taran has a diploma in Automobile NZQF level 5. He has also done the Volkswagen Fast Track Course and Mercedes Basic Training. Taran has over 5 years’ experience as a automotive technician and now heavy automotive.
Taran enjoys spiritual books, music, cooking and new automotive technology.
Callum Marshall -Apprentice Heavy Automotive
Callum started with his level 3 automotive certificate from Toi-Ohomai in 2018 but he began working on his dad's and grandfather's cars from a young age. He still loves to work on his and his friend's cars in his spare time. Callum enjoys attending the drift events and lending a hand on the pit crew.
Chris Newnham -Parts Support
Chris began working in the automotive parts industry in 1969 and acquired his Parts Trade Certificate in 1984. In 1991 he got his Hella Contact Man Certificate for electrical parts and began working at Transport Maintenance in 1996. Chris has a vast knowledge of parts and the industry.
Chris enjoys Golf, gardening, sailing and country music.
Robert Green -Parts Administration Manager
Rob began working in parts after leaving school in 1985, his 34 years of experience in vehicle parts, aftermarket parts and specialized braking are highly considered. He handles our supplier invoices as well as direct part sales to the public.
Rob enjoys motor biking, camping, outdoors and overseas travel whenever he get the opportunity.
Vanessa Viljoen -Office Manager
Vanessa began working in administration and finance in 2001. She covers all the office administration, invoicing, wages and finance among other things.
Vanessa enjoys horse riding, ballroom dancing, swimming, gardening, baking and beat saber.
